STUDENT ARRIVAL
- Parents who would like to drop-off and pick-up their child without getting out of the car can come through the drive through that is highlighted in RED in the picture below. Please drive through and wait until your child comes to your car. A staff member will go up to your car and ask for your child’s name and they will call them up to your car. PLEASE DO NOT GET OUT OF YOUR VEHICLE!
- If you would like to park and get out of your car and walk your child up to the front door or pick your child up after school, please park in the South parking area that is highlighted in BLUE in the picture below.
- If you are coming during the school day to check your child out, you may park in the front parking lot of the school. Remember to bring your ID if you are checking your child out of school
Student Drop-off
Please do not bring your student to school before 7:30 am. Parents can use the drive through at the front of the building to drop students off, or park in the south parking lot and walk their student to the front entrance door.
Bus Riders
Students will remain on the bus until a staff member is present to pick them up.
Late Arrivals
Please ring the doorbell at the front entrance of the building. A staff member will get your child’s name before proceeding to the classroom.
Breakfast and Lunch
Breakfast will be served from 7:30 am - 7:50 am in the cafeteria. Lunch times are as follows:
- Kindergarten - 10:30 am - 11:15 am
- 1st Grade - 10:40 am - 11:25 am
- 2nd Grade - 10:55 am - 11:40 am
- 3rd Grade - 11:05 am - 11:50 am
- 4th Grade - 11:20 am - 12:05 pm
- 5th Grade - 11:45 am - 12:30 pm
DISMISSAL PROCEDURES
Students will use designated exits in an effort to decrease student traffic.
Student Pick-up
Release times are Monday & Tuesday / Thursday & Friday at 2:50 pm and Wednesday at 12:50 pm. Parents can use the drive through at the front of the building to pick-up students, or park in the south parking lot and walk up to the front of the building to pick up their student.
If you are late, you will need to pick up your student at the front office.
Bus Riders
A staff member will walk students to the bus zone located in the back of the school.
Early Sign-Out
If you need to sign your student out early, call the front office (575-812-5601) before arriving at the building. Once you arrive, ring the doorbell, and a staff member will check your ID before releasing the student. If the ID holder is NOT on the contact list, the student will NOT be released. Please ensure that contact and emergency information has been updated on PowerSchool.
