We hear you! π
As we wrap up the 2nd full week of school, our Transportation Department has been working hard to make adjustments to the bus schedules to ensure all students arrive at school safely and on time. π
Please note that starting tomorrow (Friday, August 22), buses 111, 117, and 124 will have new morning and afternoon pickup/drop-off schedules for bus riders. Affected families have been contacted via phone or email and through the My Ride K-12 app. The morning routes are currently up-to-date, and the afternoon routes will be updated in the app tomorrow morning. Thank you for your understanding as we continue to make necessary adjustments to our routes and schedules in these first weeks of school.
We are here to help! If you have questions or concerns, please contact our Transportation Department directly at 812-6017 or Let's Talk! at 575-812-8573, and download the My Ride K-12 app today!π±

If so, download the My Ride K-12 Bus Rider App! This app provides quick access to your student's routing information, which can include the bus stop, route, and bus number. The app also utilizes GPS data to give you access to information on where your student's school bus is and its expected arrival time at their scheduled bus stop.

Alamogordo Public Schools utilizes 3 crisis commands district-wide.
Below is a simple chart that describes the actions and examples of when that command is utilized. π
During the first four weeks of school, each school conducts a drill each week, including a shelter-in-place drill that includes preparations to respond to an active shooter (lockdown), an evacuation drill, and a fire drill.
